CTRL+Backspace You’re deep in a spreadsheet typing away and have to scroll to the bottom to look at a number. How do you quickly get back to where you were? Ctrl+Backspace will jump you back to the active cell.
CTRL+. You have a large group of cells highlighted and want to move to the beginning or end of the highlighted range without losing your selection. CTRL+. (you can use the period key or the decimal on the number pad) will move you to the next corner of the selected range. So if the active cell is at the upper left corner of your selection, press Ctrl+. to jump to the upper right corner. Press it again to jump to the bottom right corner; a 3rd time to move to the bottom left corner, and a 4th time to return to the upper left. The range will remain selected the whole time. Only the position of the active cell will change.
