There are applications that will convert PDFs into Excel files (with varying degrees of success.) But did you know that Excel has a built in tool to extract any table from a PDF?<br><br>Click on the Data tab of the ribbon in Excel. The click the\u00a0<em>Get Data<\/em>\u00a0button. Then choose\u00a0<em>From File<\/em>\u00a0and then\u00a0<em>From PDF<\/em>. A window will open so you can select the PDF. Click\u00a0<em>Import.<\/em> Excel will read the file and open another window listing each table contained in the PDF. Selecting a table from the list will give you a preview. To import the selected table, click the\u00a0<em>Load<\/em>\u00a0button. Excel will import the data and format it as an Excel table. Or, to make changes to the data first, click the\u00a0<em>Transform Data<\/em>\u00a0button. That will open the Power Query Editor window so you can filter, sort, or edit the table.
