{"id":146,"date":"2010-07-30T18:00:16","date_gmt":"2010-07-30T23:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.iqaccountingsolutions.com\/blog\/?p=146"},"modified":"2012-09-24T14:11:42","modified_gmt":"2012-09-24T19:11:42","slug":"enhanced-assembly-reporting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iqaccountingsolutions.com\/blog\/enhanced-assembly-reporting\/","title":{"rendered":"ENHANCED ASSEMBLY REPORTING"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In Peachtree Complete 2011 and higher, Sage has made it easier to find information about assemblies and components.\u00a0 These new features are a part of the new Inventory\/Services Management Center. Here is how you can access them.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click the <strong>Inventory &amp; Services<\/strong> tab on the left side of the main Peachtree window. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>Inventory\/Service Management<\/strong> at the top of that window.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Customize This Page<\/strong> button above that.<\/li>\n<li>In the window that comes up, the list on the right shows which modules are currently being displayed.\u00a0 The list on the left shows all modules that can be selected.\u00a0 The first entry on the list should be <strong>Assemblies Built\/Unbuilt<\/strong>. Click on it so it is highlighted and then click <strong>Add<\/strong>. That will add it to the list of displayed modules.\u00a0 Repeat for <strong>Assemblies Using Item<\/strong>, and <strong>Bill Of Materials<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to change the order of the modules displayed, click on the name of the module you want to move and use the <strong>Move Up<\/strong> and <strong>Move Down <\/strong>buttons to put them in the order you want.<\/li>\n<li>When you have everything set the way you want, click <strong>OK<\/strong> to close the window and save your changes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the top of the window, enter the Item ID for an assembly or a component.\u00a0 Then scroll down to find the sections we just added to the display.\u00a0 Now you will be able to see the bill of materials for assemblies with quantity on had for each component, the build\/unbuild history for assemblies, and which assemblies use a particular component.<\/p>\n<p>Each of these modules can also be customized.\u00a0 At the top right of each section is a button with a picture of a gear.\u00a0 Click it and you can add or remove columns in that section.\u00a0 The other two buttons let you print the information, or send it to Excel, PDF, or email.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you use assemblies in Peachtree you will be glad to see that new features in Peachtree Complete 2011 and higher make is easier to quickly find information on assemblies and components.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[4],"tags":[11],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.iqaccountingsolutions.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/146"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.iqaccountingsolutions.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.iqaccountingsolutions.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.iqaccountingsolutions.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.iqaccountingsolutions.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=146"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/www.iqaccountingsolutions.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/146\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":577,"href":"https:\/\/www.iqaccountingsolutions.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/146\/revisions\/577"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.iqaccountingsolutions.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=146"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.iqaccountingsolutions.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=146"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.iqaccountingsolutions.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=146"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
